Hi, I’m Nora Torres and I’m the president and owner of Greenview Advisors. We’re a Medicare specialty company and financial advising firm.
As a Medicare and financial advisor, I’m here to guide and answer questions as individuals and couples get close to age 65. I also help seniors and retirees with their financial retirement strategy.
My goal isn’t to sell retired couples a Medicare or insurance plan, it’s to dispel the fear and confusion many feel while they try to navigate into retirement planning. I help to take a situation that’s stressful and difficult, and I offer practical explanations that make sense, so they can decide what works best for them.

When I’m mentoring and training new Medicare agents, I teach them the principles I’ve learned throughout my career and still believe in.
One of the most important things I teach my new recruits is to listen to the clients’ concerns, ask questions to find out what they’re looking for, and then help them find that.
Many agents use the approach of selling them a plan without finding out first what their needs are. I don’t try to influence their decisions; I educate them on their options and then help match them to the plan that’s best for them.
Seniors are often overwhelmed and confused by the information that’s out there on Medicare. They also need someone knowledgeable to guide them through their retirement plans and financial strategies.
Because I listen and build trust with my clients, I often get a lot of referrals. People ask me to talk to their family members. They know I’ll respond to their loved ones’ fears and help them deal with the anxieties that are so common when it comes to making decisions about finances, retirement, and Medicare. Someone recently told me, “I just love the way you take care of your clients.”
It’s important to me that people see me as someone in the community that they can talk to; like a neighbor. In both my work and my personal life, I do my best to follow the values of honoring community, trust, and preserving relationships.
